Day 59

There is so much I should be doing, but this little bear says it all. It was such a long weekend that I really don't feel like doing the housework that I should be doing. LOL! By the way I did do laundry and Alan washed dishes at least we did something.

Day 58

Today was Emberly's "Rockin' 80's" Birthday Bash! Hard to believe she is five years old. We got her the iCarly microphone and a pretty ring and necklace set. I think she may have liked her microphone! What do you think? I think she was happy with all of her gifts!

Day 57

Tonight Nathan and I made tie dye cupcakes for Emberly's 80's Birthday party! He really seemed to enjoy baking with his mom! Tomorrow we will ice them and yummy yummy (we hope)

Day 56

Nate has been working on a research paper about the history of Mountain Dew. Part of the assignment includes giving a speech with visual aides. Here is Nate with the finished assignment. Tomorrow we will tape his speech and send it in.

Day 55

Today is my sweet niece Emberly's 5th birthday. She is growing so fast. I bet she wonders what is in the pretty paper. She will have to wait till her party on Saturday to find out. Love Ya Sweetie!

Day 54

Today I was surprised by the most beautiful roses I have ever seen! My husband is such a sweetheart! He just wanted to cheer me up....and it worked! I Love You Baby!

Day 53

When trying to decide what my POD should be today I came across this mess in the game room. I decided that it was perfect for today because I swear neither one of those boys could get their school work done fast enough, all they wanted to do was get on the XBOX Live! Of course now they were told that before they can get on it tomorrow they must clean up this mess as well as a few others like the rest of the game room and their rooms. LOL

Day 52

As promised Big Al connected the boy's XBOX to live for them! They were so happy when they got home that they jumped right on and started playing! (Note this is the T-shirt and jeans missing from yesterday's post)

Day 51

Look at all the awesome treasures Aunt Kimber found for the boys! And all for under $20! There are also a pair of jeans and a t-shirt too. Awesome!

Day 50

We got some new fish for our fish tank tonight. Two big fat Oscars will be living in it! Right now they are sulking and laying on the bottom of the tank on their sides, but the lady at the pet store told us that they would do this and not to be alarmed. We had Oscars before and enjoyed them immensely so hopefully these new guys will be just as cool.

Day 49

Today was a pizza kind of day! It had its highs! Like Becca getting accepted into the NAVY! Go Her! We are all so proud of her!. And then it had its lows. A dear friend of the family's lost her baby today only a few weeks before she was due. So if you pray say a few extra tonight. One that God will keep my sister safe in her new journey, and pray that God will be with my friend and her family through this incredibly tough time. Have a good evening and God Bless!

Day 48

My cats totally think they are part of the furniture! I find them on things, in things, just all over! Tonight Geno knocked all the stuff off the bottom of this shelf and declared it his spot. That only lasted until I kicked him out. But not before I got a picture.

Day 47

I know Valentine's Day was the other day, but I didn't want to completely forget about Our Cards. The pretty sweet heart one is my card from hubby! The scary cat scratched one is the one I got hubby from the cats! I couldn't resist it was funny and so perfect for him. Love Ya Baby!

Day 46

From the time I began scrapbooking, well at least from the time these things came out! I have always dreamed of having one of the machines that does the awesome cutting jobs die cuts and such. That and one of those Bind it All's. Well I now have access to one! Yippee! My mom got one of them yesterday and we had a good old time playing around with it. These are some of the cool little boxes we made. Can't wait to see what else I can create!

Day 45

Happy Valentines Day!

My cute little monkey got this cute little monkey from his friend Lynzie. He was all giddy about it. He got her a cute little Pink Dragon that had a heart and said "Be Mine" and a lollipop. Otherwise today was pretty quiet. The Penguins lost the hockey game and Jamie McMurray won the Daytona 500. Kimmy was happy about the race!

Day 44

With all of the snow and cold its no surprise we have icicles. These are giant icicles! I swear some of them are at least 4 ft tall. They are really pretty, but I am afraid they could be pretty dangerous too.

Day 43

The guys all went to the hockey game tonight at the Mellon Arena. Sounds like they had a great time. Unfortunately the Rangers beat the Pen's 3-2 in overtime.

Week 6 February 5 - 11

Day 42

The boys went to their Nana's for dinner tonight. She was making them liver and onions. YUCK (but they love it) So Alan and I decided to go for something different and got takeout from the Villa. It was only so so, not nearly as good as i remembered it being, especially not for the price. But hey it takes a good picture. LOL!

Day 41

Another Artic blast has hit us! I'm worried the snow will never stop! (alright not that worried) Tonight I made myself some yummy coffee to help keep warm.

Day 40

Today my baby Sister got married! I wish the best of luck to the new Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Marinacci!

Day 39

Today we needed out of the house, so we took the kiddos to the Mill's for some Glo in the Dark Mini Golfing. We had a really good time!

Day 38

After the blizzard we were pretty much snowed in so today we just lounged around the house and kept warm. Alan and Geno watched the Superbowl. Congrats to the Saints an their first Superbowl win!

Week 5 January 29 - February 4

Day 35

AJ and I continued to work on his Science project today. He had to make a 3D model of the volume of the different minerals in Graphite. Then he had to take all of his data from yesterday and today and make a Power Point Presentation. He did a really good job.

Day 34

Tonight AJ and I worked on his Science project. We had to figure out what percentage of each mineral was in Granite. Each of the different colors represents a different mineral. Tomorrow he has to make a model out of clay.

Day 33

What more does a sock addict need? There is nothing better! Found these beauties at Target today and had to have them.

Day 32

Today I had Thai food for the very first time! It was really good. Thank You to Amber and her wonderful husband for an amazing experience.
